Trail Life Troop 317 is chartered by Perimeter Church in Johns Creek, Georgia, and was one of the first Trail Life Troops in the country, chartering in early January 2014.
We have a rich history of discipling young men through the vehicle of Outdoor Adventure, originally as Boy Scout Troop 317, then transitioning to Trail Life USA in January of 2014.
Troop 317 implements the Trail Life USA divisions, and separates the youth into three different programs, based on grade level:
Woodlands Trail (grades K-5),
Navigators (grades 6-8), and
Adventurers (grades 9-12)
We meet every Tuesday night from 7:00-8:30.
The Navigators and Adventurers (grades 6-12) use one Tuesday night per month to plan and strategize for upcoming events, campouts, and Troop meetings.
Troop 317’s purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
We believe that living for this purpose brings us a sense of community, a commitment to each other, and a deep satisfaction that can only come from a relationship with our infinite, eternal God, through His Son, Jesus Christ.
