Interested in your son joining the troop? New scouts are welcomed into Troop 317 twice a year, in September & April. Look for New Scout Orientation information on this website. We welcome transferring Scouts at any time.

Meetings are held every Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in the Uptown Auditorium of Perimeter Church. The troop does not meet the months of December & July. Full Class A uniform and handbooks are required.

The weekly meeting after a weekend campout is for PLC members only (Patrol Leaders Council; leadership team only). This session is a time to debrief about the past campout and plan for the next month's activities. The rest of the troop need not attend. Remember, full uniform!

Troop campouts are generally held every 3rd full weekend every month (except December and July). The June outing is reserved for Scout Summer Camp at Woodruff Scout Reservation, June 6-12, 2010.
